

How much does a session cost?
I charge £80-£90 for a 50 mins session for therapy for privately funded individuals, and £75 for supervision.

How often do I need to come?
I work with clients on a weekly basis as this supports the relational nature of the work.
How many sessions will I need?
This depends on the nature of the material you are bringing. Usually it helps to commit to six sessions to begin with, and then review it from there.
What is the difference between Psychotherapy and Counselling?
A simple way of dividing the two is to think of counselling as a way of supporting someone through a particularly troubling and difficult life event, whilst psychotherapy is a longer-term process that looks at the growth and change of the client.
What does being UKCP accredited mean?
This means someone has trained for 160 hours from an accredited institution, seen clients for a minimum of 450 hours, supervised for 150 hours at a ratio of 1:6, and been in personal therapy for 40 hours a years over four years.
What if I am based abroad or will be away for a period of time?
I also work online and offer sessions using Zoom.
